Aida Domínguez, Spanish singer and multi-instrumentalist, was born in Madrid in 1977.
She has studied and worked in the art development and its impact on healing for at least 25 years.
In 2004 she formed the vocal group Voces Féminas together with eight women of different nationalities. Between 2004 and 2008 they recorded four albums and toured Europe and Latin America.
From 2009 to 2018 she was singer and flautist of the band Healing Sounds in Spain, developing in depth experimental music and improvisation. With this band she recorded three CD’s and toured Scandinavia and Spain.
During this period she also worked as a musician for the Spanish online-radio programs Dimúsica and FlamenJazz.
In 2018 she moved to Brazil, where she fell in love with the music and rhythms of the Afro-Brazilian culture, from capoeira songs to Samba, and multiple Brazilian rhythmic forms from the different regions of the country.
She has been living in Finland since 2020, where she continues making her own compositions, mixing Brazilian and Spanish traditions and giving a healing sense to her music.
