Volunteers

Mitäs Mitäs Mitäs wouldn’t bloom in full without our amazing volunteers! Together, we pitch tents in the fields of Nuutajärvi, fix the wonky dock, and bring the world of Mitäs to life with colorful lights. When the gates open, we fasten festival wristbands, help artists onto the stage, and keep the wheels turning so the festival magic can shine. And when the music fades and the morning sun rises, we gather the last traces of stardust into a jar—ready to sprinkle it all over again next summer.

Volunteering is a unique chance to peek behind the scenes of festival-making and experience the true power of community. Join us as a volunteer for our special anniversary edition and fill out the application here!

We have a variety of tasks available, from construction and decoration to bar service, area maintenance, security, and customer service.

Shifts range from 6 to 8 hours, depending on the task, and there’s work available during the build-up week, throughout the festival, and even after the event.

No prior experience needed—we’ll guide you every step of the way! Whether you’re up for keeping the festival grounds tidy, driving, hosting backstage, running Mitäs-Café, or being the ultimate team player as a joker, we’ll be right there dancing alongside you, helping with every step.

Mitäs Mitäs Mitäs -festival is always on the lookout for innovative collaborations. We are interested in working with companies and associations that share the same value base with us. In partnerships, it is important to us that the partnership genuinely benefits both parties. Each of the partnerships at Mitäs Mitäs Mitäs- festival are individually tailored concepts. In previous years, we have implemented with our partners visibility campaigns, raffles, product sales and program implementations. Vendors

Do you sell shirts made of hemp, fun takeaway mugs, do you make pocket ashtrays that save nature, or would you like to sell your own art at Mitäs?

Our visitors value ecology, are happy to support small entrepreneurs and are excited by unique objects. Your product could be something that could be used right away at the festival or would bring joy even after the party.

Application for 2025 is closed. We will be in contact with the selected ventors during April at the latest.

This form is not for food stalls. If you are a food operator and want to participate in the festival with your food truck, please contact us directly via email at info (at) mitasmitasmitas.fi

Installation, show, creation or performance? Searching for a place to create your wildest artistic visions? Mitäs Mitäs Mitäs -festival hosts open slots for interdisciplinary artworks, unseen spectacles and sensational acts. Scroll down to the contact form or e-mail us directly info (at) mitasmitasmitas.fi and apply for performing! Please include a description of your program and preferably pictures or a video so we get the most accurate idea of the program.

Spontaneous performances

We also encourage guests to perform in the festival area, hold their own workshops and express themselves freely.

Craft your own poster and hang it on the information board, choose a corner and make it happen! There is also an Open Stage at the festival, where festival guests have access to musical instruments and a small sound system for spontaneous performances.
